The Injured Jockey's Fund
The Injured Jockeys fund relies on donations to aid the recovery of the brave men and women who risk their lives on a daily basis riding the horses, that we the racing fans love to watch. The IJF was introduced due to career ending injury to jockey's Tim Brookshaw and Paddy Farrell in 1964. The Brainchild of the great John Oaksey the fund has been responsible with helping over 1000 injured jockey's and their families.
